My Story

IMG_0424_edited.jpg

Our story begins with my journey through hormonal issues from a young age. Growing up, I had a wonderful relationship with my mum,  I could talk to her about anything, but I quickly realised that each generation before us had less knowledge about hormones and the menstrual cycle as it was such a taboo topic. I felt made to feel small by our current culture when it came to my period and ashamed to show period products in public (even when working in an all women industry). After facing my own hormonal challenges, receiving a PCOS diagnosis and having a daughter of my own, I discovered that there’s so much more to the female body than I ever imagined. Now, I am dedicated to teaching you how your menstrual cycle works, how to utilise its natural rhythms as a powerful tool for your well-being and destroying period stigma. While supporting other mums like you, finding yourself again through balance of your hormones and mum life.

Elyce has been incredible to work with. She is extremely passionate and knowledgable in providing menstrual awareness and guidance. Elyce is very easy to talk to and helps devise realistic achievable goals between sessions. Ive learned so much around menstrual phases and will continue to use this knowledge going forward. I highly recommend Elyce form About Her Period to anyone looking for expert support  and menstrual cycle coaching
